WATER IN OUR WORLD, COUNTRIES AND CITIES

The problem of water in our country, Greece, is a very important global issue because millions of people and animals around the world suffer from the lack of water while we overconsume water to take a bath to brush our teeth etc. Why should I even give one an example which is a personal experience is that from 2000 until today, every summer my village is left without water as a result of which helpless people and animals suffer. Finally, I would like to mention that all of us are responsible for the water issue because many times we don’t obey the instructions of the authorities. Thanks for reading.

WATER IS GOLD

Water is a source of life for everything on this planet and for this reason, the World Health Organization has established March 22 as World Water Day.
Water is as important as oxygen for life to exist. Is the main component of our body as the 60% of the human of an adult is made up of water.
According to scientists, the human body needs more than 1 ½ liters of water per day to function properly. Only from our urine we lose about 1 liter per day and if we add the sweet, the loss from our skin and even from our breathing then we reach 2.5 liters of water loss from our body per day.

And while, without food we can last up to 6 weeks as the experts say, without water the organism can last only a few days. It is necessary to 6-8 glasses of water per day or other beverages.
Also some fruits or food are very good sources of water. For example, watermelon, carrots, lettuce, tomato, broccoli, apple, oranges and grapefruit contain more than 80% water.
Furthermore, water covers 70.9% or our planet in the nature of which, water exists in the gaseous state, in the liquid state and in the solid state.
Finally we have mentioned many times how important water is, and how it is the source of life and the driving force on our planet.
